The longitudinal levelling machine is designed for levelling the edge bow of steel strips.

The edge bow of the strip is straightened by three edge levelling and one flat levelling station. After each edge levelling station a measuring station is positioned to scan the edge bow with a laser system.
After the straightening process, the strip is continuously recoiled by a double recoiler or cut by a hydraulic shear and stored in a stacking magazine.
The line is designed for strips with a width of 20 to 50 mm and a thickness of 0.45 to 1.42 mm.
